S&T BA succesfully implements a digital archiving project

S&T Bosnia was presented with a task to implement digital archiving aligned with requirements of client in place. Requirement included archiving of loan documentation such as applications and supporting documentation, as well as documentation for credit card applications and its documentation.

The client in question has a physical arhchive of well over 2 million loan applications and uknown number of documentation to support it that is a result of 12 years of presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Such implementation explores and takes use of full abilities of ILM concept (Information Lifecycle Management). Initialy, this project is made up of EMC Captiva InputAccel Server along with two high production scanners Canon DR9080-C (80 double layer scans per minute). As a repository for for previously mentioned content, EMC Documentum Document Management System has been implemented with all abilities to obtain documents in electronic format. As a browse & search client customer was provieded with a customized version of EMC Taskspace. As a final store point of this content customer was presented with a deployment of EMC Centera (content adressable storage) with retention rules set in place.

A project worth 200K Euros is the initial step of deployment of highly integrated Document Management system.

Project was implemented in a time period of one month.
