EVENT - Digital Archiving & Document Management

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovna – S&T BA held its first conference on the subject of digital archiving and content management based on EMC products on the 16th of October, 2008.

Jasmin Hadzigrahic The managing director of S&T BA, commenced the conference with a warm welcome and few worlds with regard to the local IT market and S&T BA business presence within the market and finaly with the agenda of the conference.

Following the opening, Josef Villa, S&T Headquarters, Director of Information Security & Compliant unit addressed the audience with topic covering data classification. Right after conclusion of the data classification subject audience heard from S&T BA managed services manager Almir Veladzic in reference to EMC Information Lifecycle Mangement (ILM).

Next theme of the conference was with respect to Back-up, Recovery and Archiving (BURA). This is where public had the opportunity to hear first hand from EMC representatives Ljiljana Pelko and Promoz Golob about minimizing the risk of data loss and increased security of data while having full control of data management.

Attendees were presented with an opportunity to hear first hand from representatives and system engineers that implement these solutions and at the same time receive answers and ideas for their real time business issues. In conclusion, the public participated in a prize contest and a luncheon along with the presentators.

S&T BA was once again praised for excellent organization and giving the customers to keep up with the world wide IT market solutions. This time the customers have a large opportunity to see how use of EMC technology can bring their companies up to speed on better archival methods and document management. S&T BA expects to induce new projects for the following year as a result of this conference.
